Bigfoot Wilderness School is a homeschool wilderness program for ages 7–12, held on private property in New Waverly, Texas.

At Bigfoot Wilderness School, students don’t just learn survival skills — they live them. From casting fishing lines to building real shelters, crafting feather sticks, and cooking over open flames, each session prepares them for confidence in the wild — and in life. Our program blends challenge, creativity, and teamwork into an outdoor experience they won’t forget.

They caught the wild children and taught them to wait,
To raise their hands and sit up straight.
They traded their mud for fluorescent lights,
And told them to learn only facts that were right.

But we know the truth — the wild still calls.
Through creeks, through trees, through canyon walls.
Out here, they climb, they carve, they roam —
And the forest reminds them: this is home.
