Program Year Overview
Bigfoot Wilderness School operates on a program-year schedule from September through May, with a Winter Break in December and January.
Students build skills progressively over time, and each session is designed as part of a complete experience. Enrollment is for the full program year rather than by month or semester. If space becomes available, mid-year enrollment may occasionally be offered.
Program Year Tuition
Tuition for the full 2026–2027 program year is:
$1,600 per student
Registration Fee
A $100 registration fee is due upon acceptance and secures your child’s place in the program.
The registration fee is non-refundable.
Pay-in-Full Option
Families may choose to pay tuition in full upon enrollment and receive a 5% discount.

Installment Payment Plan
For convenience, tuition may be paid in 7 installments:
- Installments 1–6: $230 each
- Final Installment: $220
Due at Enrollment:

- First Installment: $230
Remaining installments are due on:
- October 1
- November 1
- February 1
- March 1
- April 1
- May 1
No payments are due in December or January during Winter Break.
Installments are part of the full program tuition and are not a month-to-month subscription.
A $15 late fee will be applied to payments received after the 5th of the month. Enrollment may be paused if payment is more than two weeks overdue. Participation may resume once the account is brought current.
What Tuition Covers
Tuition includes all core components of the Bigfoot Wilderness School program:
- Weekly instruction and supervision
- Program planning and staff training
- Safety equipment and materials
- Shared gear and supplies
- Student materials such as journals, compasses, and fire-starting tools
- Spring Family Campout
- Pre-season meetups and group activities
Program Commitment
Enrollment is a commitment for the full September–May program year.
Tuition is not prorated or refunded due to absence, schedule conflicts, or withdrawal. Staffing, supplies, and program planning are arranged in advance based on enrollment.
Withdrawal and Dismissal
If a family needs to withdraw, please contact us. While tuition is generally not prorated or refunded due to withdrawal, we understand that unexpected circumstances can arise and will work with families when possible.
Bigfoot Wilderness School reserves the right to dismiss a student if program policies, safety rules, or the Code of Conduct are not followed, or if the program is not a good fit.
Tuition already paid is non-refundable. Future installment payments will not be required in the event of dismissal.
